Research
- The Ignite Program聽provides rapid access to pilot funds and helps researchers compete for private, foundational, state, federal, and international funding.
- 罢丑别听Research Across Departments and Schools聽program aids faculty from across Boston College in interdisciplinary research projects that address today鈥檚 most pressing issues.
Grants
- 础苍苍耻补濒听Research Incentive Grants聽provide merit-based funding for research initiated during the summer break.
- Research Expense Grants聽facilitate successful faculty research by helping to defray scholarly research expenses.
- The Institute for the Liberal Arts offers聽major and minor grants聽that help fund innovative projects and other initiatives that improve education or scholarship in the liberal arts.
- The Schiller Institute offers two聽faculty seed grant programs. This first supports collaborative research in principal research focus areas of energy, the natural environment, and health. The second program supports faculty conducting collaborative work with community partners in Boston and around the world.

- Sabbatical Fellowships聽support faculty members focusing on research and publication.
Teaching, Advising, & Mentoring
- 础苍苍耻补濒听Teaching, Advising, and Mentoring Grants聽fund faculty members鈥� and teams鈥� innovative approaches to teaching, advising, and mentorship.
- Teaching, Advising and Mentoring Expense Grants聽provide up to $2,000 for expenses that improve the experiences of Boston College students.
