The Management Intensive | For CSR Managers

June 8-12, 2026听 |听 BOSTON COLLEGE听 |听 BOSTON, MA

Created for managers overseeing aspects of CSR or ESG at their companies, the Management Intensive听is a听five-day certificate program that will provide you with the strategic, organizational, and communication tools needed to advance good corporate citizenship performance throughout your organization. The Management Intensive is held on the Boston College campus with instruction by faculty from the Carroll School of Management and other experts in the field.

During this week-long certificate program, corporate citizens will learn:
  • The scope of management responsibility associated with corporate citizenship
  • Principles of change management applied to the development and execution of corporate citizenship practices
  • Stakeholder salience and materiality assessment
  • How to create meaningful corporate citizenship performance goals
  • How to assess and evaluate reporting standards and frameworks
  • How to develop effective corporate citizenship messaging

Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone working in corporate citizenship and managing a team, though ideally participants should come with at least five years of experience working in the field. Newer professionals may wish to explore the Summit, where they enjoy a more broad-based overview of the CSR field in general.

PLEASE NOTE: Program registration is open exclusively to corporate citizenship practitioners working inside of for-profit companies.听In some cases, eligibility extends to nonprofit healthcare organizations, credit unions, and consulting firms (if they have a dedicated corporate citizenship/sustainability department).
